Neal Cross is Managing Director and Chief Innovation Officer of DBS Bank and a strong advocate for innovative thinking and culture. Cross has more than 20 years’ experience in technology, innovation and financial services. He started working in the Asia time zone at Microsoft in Australia and later in Singapore as the financial services industry director. Also, he is an advisor to several government agencies and is on the Singapore future corporate capabilities and innovation committee. Recently he was a finalist for APAC Most Disruptive CIO - TalentUnleashed.co. On his weekends Cross lives in the Sumatran jungle where he has founded Hotel Orangutan, a social enterprise to help save the critically endangered Sumatran Orangutan and to give local villagers employment and education.
