Michael Sng, the owner of Machination Studio and the creator of the Codename Colossus series of Mechanical Dieselpunk Walking Tank Scale Models. He was the first Singaporean to give a TED Talk on the main stage at the TED Conference 2016 about spending 18 months picking up 3D modelling, 3D printing, electronics and programming to build his idea of the Ultimate Toy, Mechanized Dieselpunk Walking Tank Scale Models.
His journey to build the models, some standing 55cm tall, had caught the attention of many prominent tech, geek and popular culture sites. He got to show his toys off to celebrities like Harrison Ford, Steven Spielberg and Adam Savage. He has since followed it up with two Kickstarter campaigns to bring his work to collectors, and has a stop motion animation in the works..
